Riverton Heritage Harvest Festival
March 28th & 29th 2020
The twelfth annual Riverton Heritage Harvest Festival is a celebration of Southland's home harvest. Interactive displays, demonstrations, workshops, speakers, music, competitions & activities for all! Lasting two days, the Harvest Festival will have enough happening to keep your family busy all weekend. Free speakers, music, and activities will be happening outside in our big Marquee with the harvest market surrounding it. Workshops happen throughout both days and often include topics such as: seed saving, plant propagation, growing a home orchard, cooking for kids, herbs and healing, etc. There will also be full day workshops on offer before the festival. And Forest Garden tours scheduled throughout the weekend. A potluck harvest feast will be held Friday night, and a barn dance on Saturday.
We will update the website and our facebook page with workshop and speaker listings as they become available. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a workshop or have any questions.
