Hand creams, moisturisers, face packs, bath bags and more.... feel the difference! Cost $10 + $2 material fee Bountiful Backyards Are you ready to trade lawns for vege gardens and exotic shrubs for fruit trees and berries then this is the course for you. How to make your back yard soil fertile, all about growing vegetables, berries, herbs and fruit trees. Grow healthy organic food in your own backyard and save $$$. This is for people who are new to gardening and those who have done a bit but would like to know how to make it more successful with the minimum of effort. Full day course (three sessions) $25 bring a plate to share for lunch. COB OVEN Workshop learn to build one in this full day course $25 pp bring a lunch plate to share. 8 people minimum and maximum. Host it at your place and you get to keep it! Easy enough once you have built one you can get your own family and friends to build one at your place. Seed Saving Workshop How to gather, sort, clean and store seeds. How to choose seeds that can be saved once grown. It is easy but there are several pitfalls to avoid. Will cover saving seeds from each family group and you will get lots of seeds to take home for free! Introduction to Permaculture Held at the Guyton's property you will see how they have used the concepts of permaculture in their gardens, food forest, buildings and design systems. Note the Guyton's are planning a full Permaculture Design Course run in modules over 2010 so this introduction is a great way to find out more about permaculture and the 80 hour course. and more |
