We actively support other organic growers and encourage people to 'eat organically' as much as possible through our Organic Food Co-op.

A variety of venues around the area are used to demonstrate key features of the organic growing system. We have some experienced growers on developed properties who are willing to host groups.

We have made some educational programmes which were aired regularly on Channel 90 (Seen on 'Sky' throughout NZ and on Southland TV):

  • saving seeds
  • composting and bio-intensive gardening
  • liquid manures and soil sterilizing
  • pruning fruit trees
  • grafting fruit trees

These are available to be viewed in the Centre.

Our group has a large selection of library books and video resources that can be borrowed by members or are available for browsing in the Centre.

We have a selection of information summary sheets on a wide range of topics available for 20c each in the Centre (or these gardening fact sheets can be printed online.)
