Medium size Aronia melanocarpa (chokeberry). Aronia grows a very small berry which is reported to be full of "lots of good stuff". The trouble is it is astringent so you need to process the berry before eating it. Aronia is used in jams, fruit leathers, juices etc. Birds will eat all the berries in minutes so you will need to provide protection. These plants are grown from suckers, so should fruit next season. Won't mind growing in wet soil. Deciduous, with gorgeous autumn colour.
